I apologize for being MIA. I’ve been busy rehearsing with Theatrezone, an equity company here in SWFL. Boy From Oz opens tonight! Apparently we are the first theatre in the US to do an equity production of this show. Some major industry people will be in attendance and Broadway World is going to do a post about it. Pretty cool! It has been a nice, fast experience. We have been rehearsing about 6 hours every night and had our final dress last night. The show is all about the life and career of Peter Allen who left Australia for stardom and was influenced by Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli along the way. I am in the ensemble so that involves lots of dancing and singing. Everyone is easy to work with and I can’t believe how quickly time flies. Can’t wait for opening and to celebrate after!
